Happy First Birthday, Tyson!
Our little guy turned one today (nine months corrected age). He's come so far from his challenging beginnings, and we are very proud of his progress and growth. He brings incredible joy to our lives; we couldn't have asked or dreamed of a more wonderful or beautiful baby boy. We love ya, Tyson! Stay tuned for photos from his birthday celebration WEEK!
Happy birthday wishes also go to our dear little friend Madison, who turned one today as well!

For daddy's first Father's Day, we got to spend some quality family time. Mom and Tyson also bought daddy a nice new toy.
Tyson enjoyed the wrapping paper that we wrapped dad's gift in.

Okay, dad, let's switch toys now!

Preemie Picnic
A belated post about Mt. Sinai's 25th annual Preemie Picnic, held at High Park on May 31st. The event celebrates Mt. Sinai's NICU survivors, and provides a chance for families to reconnect with the NICU staff and other preemie families. We enjoyed chatting with fellow preemie parents that we had met during our NICU stay to find out how they and their babies were faring, and seeing first-hand how much their babies had grown since their tiny beginnings. We also had lots of fun hanging out with our family and friends that came out to support us. See you at next year's picnic!!
