Happy Seven Months
Tyson is now seven months old (he'll be four months corrected age on January 30th), and progressing nicely with his milestones. Some of his tricks including vocalizing long strings of vowel and consonant combinations; lifting his head to 90 degrees during tummy time; grabbing objects (see Pooh wrap example below); and sucking his thumb like no one's bizness.
Tummy time
Practicing tummy time (not yoga):
Hand-eye coordination
Remember the lovely Pooh wrap that keeps Tyson enthralled? Well, now that he has better hand-eye coordination, he likes to try and swat at Pooh & Co. He's managed to tear off the bottom half of the paper, and is eagerly working at getting his hands (and mouth) on the rest of it:
After all his hard work, mom still won't let him put it in his mouth :P
The thumb is a marvellous invention
"Don't let my size fool you..."
Tyson is still on the smaller side for his age, but we agree with the slogan on his onesie... this kid's got a lot going for him, and we know that he'll catch up in stature once dad's height genes kick in! Thanks to dad's coworkers, The Klink's, for the outfit.

Twins
Busy Baby
From a first church outing to more visits with family and friends, January has kept Tyson a busy baby. Here are some recent pics of the little guy.
Ready for church, nametag and all:
With neighbours Auntie Jenet and Uncle Chico -- we can't wait to meet Tyson's new friend!
With Auntie Winnie:
With Uncle Wes, mimicking each other's smile and hair:
With Auntie Eva, who finally gets to hold the Golden Piglet:
With newlyweds Uncle Wayne and Auntie Grace from Vancouver; congrats on the nuptials!
With Uncle Clem and cousin Graydon; these photos remind us of earlier photos taken with Tristan, when he was a newborn:
