Tyson was sleeping peacefully in his Level II crib...
...when someone tagged his wrist and ankle!
They were discharge ID tags; the little guy got the green light to transfer from Mt. Sinai to NYGH. This would be his longest journey yet, and the first time he ever set foot outside of Mt. Sinai.
Making the travel preparations:
We were very lucky to have his primary Shihping accompany him on the ambulance ride to NYGH. She was with Tyson on the first day he was admitted, so it was special to have her there on his discharge day as well.
Settling into his NYGH bedspace (he was quietly looking around, checking out his new surroundings):
Hmmm, they have different soothers here...
Tastes pretty good!
We'll definitely miss all the NICU/Level II staff at Mt. Sinai who looked after our little guy, and are extremely grateful for their care of our family. We hope to adjust to NYGH life soon.
Another step closer for Tyson to come HOME :)
